Dynamic Reporting is a powerful, customizable reporting tool available in GovDash that empowers you to analyze and segment data within multiple product areas, including the Capture Cloud, Proposal Cloud, and Contract Cloud. This feature provides teams with greater flexibility and visibility into their workflows, enabling better decision-making and performance tracking.

Getting Started

To begin using the Dynamic Reporting tool:

  1. Navigate to the Capture, Proposal, or Contract Cloud.

  2. Click the graph icon in the top right to launch the Dynamic Reporting interface.

Key Capabilities

Workflow-Level Reporting

Dynamic Reporting supports reporting for each workflow type within GovDash, allowing you to drill into the relevant performance data based on your business process.

Segmentation by Key Dimensions

Customize your view by analyzing data across key segments such as:

  • Notice Type

  • Agency or Department

  • Submission Stage

  • NAICS

  • Award Type

For example:

  • View the average age of opportunities segmented by notice type.

  • Identify bottlenecks by filtering based on agency-specific submissions.

  • Drill down to opportunities in specific capture phases for more targeted insights.

Multi-Level Filtering

Apply multiple filters at once to narrow your results. This enables you to create highly tailored reports, whether you're tracking proposals, managing contracts, or analyzing capture phase progress.

Excel Export

Want to work offline or share your findings? Dynamic Reporting includes a built-in export to Excel function so you can continue your analysis in other tools or include it in presentations.

Tips for Using Dynamic Reporting Effectively

  • Export filtered data to Excel for deeper analysis, team reviews, or sharing with stakeholders who don’t have access to GovDash.

  • Combine filters like department + phase + age to create highly specific reports that surface insights tailored to your strategy.

  • Set a regular reporting cadence (weekly or monthly) to monitor pipeline changes and measure progress against team goals over time.

  • Align reporting views with team KPIs, such as proposal submission rates, opportunity win/loss ratios, or average capture duration.
