New GovDash Layout

Enhanced Navigation Header, Sidebar, and Layout for Opportunity/Proposal Pages

We are excited to announce the release of a new navigation header, sidebar, and layout for our opportunity/proposal pages. These changes are designed to simplify the user interface (UI), enhance navigation, and ensure a more responsive experience overall.

Key Functional Updates

Here are the significant updates regarding functionality:

1. The Theme Picker, What’s New, and Roadmap have been repositioned to the "More" menu located in the bottom left corner of GovDash.
   
   

   
   

2. The Guides button has been integrated into the Get Help button in the top right corner of GovDash, a change from its previous location in the sidebar.
   
   

   

   
   

3. The left-hand sidebar is still expandable, but is unable to be expanded in Opportunity and Proposal views. This provides more screen real estate for content throughout GovDash. Hovering your mouse over the sidebar icons shows the name of the area of GovDash you’re about to click on in the collapsed view.
   
   

   

   
   

4. We now support hotkeys for navigation within the main sidebar. You can use the combination of G + a number or letter, which will display when you press G.
   
   

   

New Opportunity/Proposal Record Layout

The updated opportunity/proposal record layout, featured on /opportunities/[ID] and /proposals/[ID], includes a transition from a horizontal navigation bar to a vertical one. This change enables easier navigation between different modules across various clouds. This allows you to easily move between capture and proposal of the opportunity within the same page!

The functionality now includes:

• Support for hotkeys for navigation between modules. Now, you can use T + a number or letter, which will show when you press T.
  
  

  

  
  

• A collapsible inner sidebar. In its collapsed state, you can simply hover over the left side of the page to expand the sidebar once again. CMD/Ctrl + E will collapse the sidebar as well.

We encourage you to explore these enhancements to make your experience smoother and more efficient. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to refine our UI and features to better serve your needs.

Where are my Solution questions within Proposal Cloud?

The Solution questions from the Proposal Cloud view are now accessed under the Capture Plan, as shown below.

The new GovDash layout mimics your Pipeline phases within this Capture Plan section, meaning that any changes made to the default phase names will be displayed here.

For example, if you have Salesforce integrated and have linked your phases, your Salesforce phases will appear under Capture Plan in place of the default Analysis, Intel, and Solution GovDash phases.
