What Are Passkeys?
Passkeys are a simpler, more secure way to sign in, without using a password.
Instead of typing and remembering passwords, you use your device to confirm it’s you, like Face/Touch ID, a fingerprint, or your device PIN. Your device securely handles the sign-in without sharing sensitive information with the website, making logins faster and better protected against phishing and stolen passwords.
Setting Up Passkeys
Using the tabs below, please select your device’s operating system, and then your desired browser. You may register a maximum of 5 passkeys to your GovDash account.
Windows Hello Requirements
In order to register a passkey with Edge or Firefox, you must first set up Windows Hello on your device (PIN, face, or fingerprint authentication). For more information on setting up Windows Hello on your device, please visit Microsoft’s support article here.
