The Timeline feature in the GovDash Pipeline allows your team to communicate, review updates, and track tasks quickly and easily within an opportunity.
Accessing Timeline
To access the Timeline feature of your Pipeline opportunity, click within an opportunity in your Pipeline, and then select the Timeline tab.
Using Timeline
The Timeline is broken out into several key features:
The Audit Log tracks your opportunity updates and phase changes, allowing you to easily track progress in a central location.
Tasks give you the ability to create and assign tasks, set due dates, and track status in the Kanban view.
Chat allows your team to closely collaborate, communicate, attach documents, tag other team members, and quickly create tasks from messages.
Chat Functions
Within the message creation options, you can create comments that have document attachments (1), mention specific team members (2), and create and attach tasks to comments (3).
Once messages are created, you can pin, edit, delete, and create/attach tasks (1), reply directly inline with the comment (2), view replies (3), and view attached documents (4).
Creating and Managing Tasks
You can create tasks directly from the interface using the Create Tasks button at the top of the page, or create and link tasks to comments.
To manage your tasks, switch to the Kanban view at the top of the page. This will allow you to track the tasks’ progress to completion. You can click to edit the task, add notes, and change dates and urgency as needed!
