Starting the Proposal Draft
To start the transition process to creating a solicitation response using your Pipeline opportunity, click Start Proposal in the top right within your opportunity.
GovDash will create a draft using the documents that were attached to the opportunity (using your own document uploads, or those from sam.gov) as the solicitation package.
You can add more documents within the draft process, or add them to the opportunity’s Documents tab to keep a copy within the opportunity, as well as the solicitation response.
Need Help?
Check out our guide to creating proposal outlines from the draft here.
Alternatively, you can also move your opportunity in your Pipeline to the Ready for Proposal phase, and click the Start Proposal button on the opportunity card.
If you need more time with your draft, exiting out of the draft will save your progress. You can access the draft again from the Drafts page within the Proposal Cloud dashboard, or from the Pipeline via the View Proposal Draft button on your opportunity’s card.
Accessing Your Proposal
Once the opportunity has been transitioned to the Proposal Cloud, you can view the solicitation response from the Proposal Cloud dashboard, or from the Pipeline using the View Proposal button on the opportunity’s card.
