Uploading Your Contracts

Overview

The Contract Cloud serves as a single source of truth that informs all aspects of content generation and pipeline management. GovDash analyzes contract documents to create a detailed past performance record, automatically connecting new documents to existing records as they are uploaded. This comprehensive record goes beyond the PWS, including status reports, deliverables, resumes, CPARS, metrics, and more, ensuring that all relevant information is seamlessly integrated and accessible.

Ensure You Have...

For each contract within GovDash, it's best to have a combination following documents uploaded to each contract record if you have them available. Required documents are in bold:

  • Main contract document

  • Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work

  • Resumes of Personnel (key and assigned)

  • Winning Proposal Volumes

  • Status Reports

  • Deliverables

  • CPARS

The more information that GovDash has about your contract and the work you performed, the better we'll be able to write to those capabilities in your future proposals, and the better we can match opportunities to your team based on your past performance!

Important - Contract Requirements

Your contracts within GovDash must at least contain the main contract document and PWS/SOW in order to use it as past performance, as without these documents, we cannot create compliant past performance narratives.

Uploading Your Contracts

To start uploading your contracts and past performances to the Contract Cloud, click the Contract button on the left hand side of GovDash.

Once inside, click the Add New Contract button in the top right corner to begin adding your contracts to GovDash.

Upload a Single Contract

If you'd like to upload your contracts individually, select the Upload a single contract option to get started.

  1. Begin by uploading your contract document, which should be a document that contains your contract data (e.g. award document, past performance write-up, etc.), and click Next.

  2. If you have the associated PWS/SOW for the contract, you can upload it by selecting Yes - Upload PWS/SOW, or if the previously uploaded document also contained the PWS/SOW, select The previous document contained the PWS/SOW. You may also skip this step if you do not have the document(s) on hand, but we highly recommend uploading this as this contains crucial information as to the work that was performed.

  3. You can then optionally upload any additional documents that are relevant to the specific contract using the Upload Additional Documents section.

  4. Once all of your documents are uploaded, click Submit to complete the process.

Important - Contract Requirements

Uploading the main contract and PWS/SOW for each contract in your inventory will give you the best results in GovDash when it comes to our ability to write accurate and thorough past performance narratives in your proposals.

These documents are required in order to select the contract as past performance within proposals, as without them, we cannot create compliant past performance narratives.

Bulk Contract Upload

If you have a spreadsheet that contains your contract master list, you can upload this to GovDash to import your important contract details. Once uploaded, you can add your contract documentation to each contract.

  1. Select I have multiple contracts to upload from the contract upload options.

  2. Click the Upload button to select your spreadsheet file.

  3. Make sure your file includes at a minimum the contract title, contract number, and your role (prime or subcontractor).

  4. Once selected, click Submit to upload your file.

  5. Map the headers from your spreadsheet to the required fields, and then click Submit when finished.

Important - Contract Requirements

Once you have bulk uploaded your contracts, we highly recommend going through each contract that was created from the spreadsheet and upload the contract document, PWS/SOW, and your supporting contract documents using the steps in this article.

You must upload at least the main contract document and PWS/SOW in order to use the contract as past performance within proposals. These documents are required in order to select the contract as past performance within proposals, as without them, we cannot create compliant past performance narratives.
